Electrical cables: are used to connect two or more devices, enabling the transfer of electrical signals or power from one device to the other. Long-distance communication takes place over under sea ​communication cable. Power cables are used for bulk transmission of alternating and direct current power, especially using high voltage cable.

Power transformers: are utilized in transmission networks with significantly higher voltage, while distribution transformers function in distribution networks defined by lower voltages.
Power transformers available in the market have various ratings ranging from 400kV, 200kV, 66kV, and 33kV. Whereas distribution transformers ratings range from 11kV, 6.6kV, 3.3kV, 440v, and 230.

MV and LV Switchgear: refers to an amalgamation of electrical switching devices whose function is to switch, control, meter, regulate, isolate, and protect electrical circuits and equipment. Some of the products encompassed within the switchgear include switches, circuit breakers, switch fuse units, contractors, H.R.C. fuses, offload isolators, and earth leakage circuit breakers (E.L.C. Bs). These devices are assembled in a logical manner to form the switchgear. The switchgear may be used to clear faults downstream as well as de-energize equipment so that work can be done. This equipment has direct linkage reliability of the supply of electricity.

Gas Insulated Substation: Gas insulated substation (GIS) consist of components where active parts on high voltage potential are located in the middle of the aluminium alloy pipes and held in this location by epoxide resin insulators. The pipes are filled in with insulating gas and have earth potential. The GIS consists of typical HV components such as disconnectors, CBs, busbars, voltage and current transducers. GIS can save up to 90% of space compared with air insulated substation. It is particularly suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

Overhead power line: is a structure used in electric power transmission and distrbution to transmit electrical energy across large distances. It consists of one or more uninsulated electrical cable (commonly multiples of three for three phase power) suspended by towers or poles.Since most of the insulation is provided by the surrounding air, overhead power lines are generally the least costly method of power transmission for large quantities of electric energy.

M obile substation: A mobile substation is a self-contained trailer or container equipped with the necessary high and medium voltage components of a full substation, including power transformer, switchgear and disconnect switches (GIS, AIS or Hybrid), metering transformers, surge arresters, protection and control equipment, AC and DC auxiliary power and control systems. Other equipment can be supplied to meet customer specific requirements.

Cathodic protection: is a technique used to control the corrosion of a metal surface by making it the cathode of an electrochemical cell. A simple method of protection connects the metal to be protected to a more easily corroded "sacrifial metal" to act as the anode. The sacrificial metal then corrodes instead of the protected metal. For structures such as long pipelines, where passive galvanic cathodic protection is not adequate, an external DC electrical power source is used to provide sufficient current.

DCS Panel. In recent years, the use of smart devices and field buses makes distributed control system (DCS) to be prominent in large and complex industrial processes as compared to the former centralized control system. This distribution of control system architecture around the plant has led to produce more efficient ways to improve reliability of control, process quality and plant efficiency.Nowadays, distributed control system has been found in many industrial fields such as chemical plants, oil and gas industries, food processing units, nuclear power plants, water management systems, automobile industries, etc.

Cable Tray and Cable Ladder: ​Cable trays are also referred to as troughs or ventilated cable trays. A plant engineer uses cable trays during the planning phase for projects. They are considered a better option for project planning because engineers can simply lay additional cables on the tray when the project requirements evolve. It is more of a challenge to plan projects and move wiring with conduit piping.
